What We Believe – Our Faith

We believe:

  • Jesus Christ is the Word of God, who was with God and is God. John 1:1
  • Jesus Christ is the lamb slain from before the foundation of the world for our sins and the sin of the entire world making him our redemption, propitiation, and the only atoning sacrifice for sin. John 1:29; Romans 3:25; 1 John 2:2; Exodus 25:22; 1 Corinthians 1:30; Leviticus 4:3-21; Leviticus 6:24-30; Leviticus 9:8-22
  • The Scriptures from Genesis to Malachi spoke prophetically of Jesus’ birth and this means or is to be understood that God came in the flesh. Genesis 3:15; Isaiah 7:14; 1 Timothy 3:16; John 1:14
  • The prophecy (Isaiah’s prophecy) concerning Jesus’ birth by a virgin was fulfilled over 2,000 years ago in the town of Bethlehem. Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 2:1; Jeremiah 31:15; Micah 5:2; Daniel 9:25
  • God not only became flesh, in the person of Jesus Christ, but lived out his life 100% the life of God and 100% the life of man. John 1:14-15, 18; 1 Timothy 3:16; 1 John 4:3
  • At approximately 30 years of age Jesus was baptized by the Holy Spirit with the heavenly Father giving witness and testimony. Matthew 3:13-17; John 1:28-34
  • For three to three and one-half years, Jesus manifested a public ministry going about healing all those that were sick and oppressed of the devil. Acts 10:38; 1 John 3:8b
  • Jesus was crucified, buried and after three days in the lower parts of the earth He was resurrected unto life and appears unto many witnesses including us. Acts 1:3; Ephesians 4:9-10; Mark Chapters 15-16; Matthew Chapters 27-28; Luke Chapters 23-24; John Chapters 19-21; Luke 24:44-51; Jonah 1:17; Matthew 12:40; Acts 2:36; 1 Corinthians 2:2,8; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8; Acts 10:40-41
  • Jesus ascended on high leading captivity captive, giving gifts unto men and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. Ephesians 4:8; Acts 1:11; Hebrews 1:3
  • On the day of Pentecost the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out in the upper room and from there poured out into the entire earth to each us, guide us and to lead us into all truth. Acts 2:1-4; John 16;13; Acts 8:4; John 17:15, 20-23
  • Because of the work that Jesus has done and by receiving Him as Lord and Savior, any man or woman can be saved, because the wrath of God has been satisfied—Jesus Christ has made peace with the Father and we can enjoy that peace with Him here on earth and the Father’s good will is towards all men. Romans 5:1; 2 Corinthians 5:19; Ephesians Chapter 2; Luke 1:31; Acts 4:12; Matthew 1:21; Luke 2:8-14
  • By receiving salvation, which can only come through the name of Jesus, affords us certain benefits which include forgiveness of sins, healing from all manner of disease and sickness, prosperity in all matters and areas which include the areas of finance and wealth. God desires us to flourish and be fruitful in all these areas.  3 John 2; Isaiah 53:4-5; 1 Peter 2:24; Deuteronomy 8:18; 2 Corinthians 8:9
  • The word of God is infallible. It is the first and the last word concerning anything in this life. That by putting your trust in the Word of God you shall never be put to shame. 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 138:2; Deuteronomy 8:3; Matthew 4:4; Numbers 23:19; Hebrews 6:13-18; Psalm 71:1; Psalm 31:1
  • In the baptism of the Holy Spirit, given to the body of Christ—this is evidenced by speaking in other tongues. Acts 2:4; Acts 8:12-17; John 1:33; Acts 10:44-48; Acts 10:34; Acts 11:15-16; Acts 19:2-6
  • To every born again, spirit-filled believer, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is 100% in our spirit, active 100% of the time. And in our spirit is the faith of the Son of God for us to utilize as our minds are renewed by the word of God and we believe. Romans 8:11,17; Ephesians 1:18-20; Ephesians 3:14-21; Hebrews 13:5; Matthew 28:20; John 14:12; Galatians 2:20; Galatians 2:16-20; Galatians 3:5; Romans 12:1-2; Ephesians 4:23-24
  • When Jesus spoke and said that He had all power in heaven and in earth, that this same power was given to us when he said “Go ye therefore” and we have the right and access to the same ability of power that Jesus has and that power has been invested in our spirit and cannot operate independent of Him. But because we are co-laborers with Him we can preach the gospel to every creature, we can heal the sick, we can cure all manner of disease and sickness, we can raise the dead, we can cause those who are believing to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, those who are suffering lack in any areas of their lives to become fruitful and to have an abundance. We believe in the casting out of devils, if we drink or eat any deadly thing it will not harm us, and we can take up serpents or scorpions and they shall not harm us. Mark 16:20; Matthew 28;18-20; Matthew 10:1; Romans 8:11; Mark 3:14-15; Luke 9:1-2; 1 John 2:20, 27; Ephesians 1:19-20; Ephesians 3:20; Romans 8:17; 1 Corinthians 3:9
  • We have been given authority over all the power of our adversary—Satan. Luke 10:19; Acts 1:8; Matthew 10:1; Mark 3:14-15; Luke 9:1-2
  • It is the responsibility of every believer to preach the gospel everywhere with signs, wonders and miracles following them—because we believe. Matthew 28;18-20; Mark 16:20; John 14:13-14; Mark 16:17-18; 1 Corinthians 2:4-5; Romans 1:16-17
  • We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ, where we shall be changed eternally and we will put off all mortality, all corruption of our physical bodies and put on immortality and inherit an incorruptible body, which is a body like unto Jesus’ body—where we will rule, reign, fellowship, worship and praise God throughout all eternity. 1 Corinthians 15:42-57; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Acts 1:11
  • The battle throughout the entire word of God and throughout time has been a battle for the heart of man—whether we yield our heart to God or we yield it to Satan. This one act/issue will determine our destiny. Romans 10:9-10; Genesis 3:6-7; Jeremiah 17:9-10; Jeremiah 31:31-35; Proverbs 23:7; Psalm 51:6, 16-17; Matthew 5:28; Romans 1:18-19; Ephesians 2:1-6
